Genre: progression, abilities, resources, challenges, and costs

Source and scope

Translation of the original Word asset's Chinese migration. Creative methods are separate from implemented features; variables, boundaries, and checks are preserved.

Progress can mean power, skill, knowledge, status, career, influence; no numerical interface is required. Gains must be perceptible, acquisition credible, and challenges change accordingly.

Prompt A: progression system and boundaries

text
You are a progression-fiction systems editor. Design ability/career/status growth rules, not just level names.
<story_promise>{{promise}}</story_promise>
<world_rules>{{world}}</world_rules>
<protagonist>{{protagonist}}</protagonist>

Output growth dimensions, stage differences, acquisition paths, training/learning, resources, time, opportunity costs, failure risks, bottlenecks, ability combinations, social recognition, anti-cheating safeguards, problems even the top level cannot solve. Every gain changes strategies and adds responsibilities or limits.

Prompt B: resource economy and scarcity

text
You are a progression-resource economist. Check origins, scarcity, control, circulation, pricing.
<progression_system>{{system}}</progression_system>
<factions_economy>{{economy}}</factions_economy>

Ledger: source, processing, substitutes, entry barriers, consumption, hoarding risks, black market/power, protagonist advantage, long-term inflation. Diagnose free infinite resources, ubiquitous rarities, protagonist-only rewards, currency/power disconnect.

Prompt C: challenge ladder and proof of ability

text
You are a challenge editor. Test varied abilities and choices, not higher numbers alone.
<current_capabilities>{{capabilities}}</current_capabilities>
<growth_goal>{{goal}}</growth_goal>
<plot_stage>{{stage}}</plot_stage>

Per challenge: surface goal, hidden test, needed skill, unusable old tactic, environmental/relational limits, failure cost, local success, proof of ability, new weakness. Alternate technical, judgment, cooperation, resource, moral, public-pressure dimensions. Do not prove strength through opponents taking turns making mistakes.

Prompt D: training, breakthrough, rewards

text
You are a progression-beat editor. Design preparation → trial → feedback → correction → proof → cost. Compress if needed, but never skip the basis for acquisition.
<planned_growth>{{growth}}</planned_growth>
<chapter_range>{{range}}</chapter_range>
<serialization_parameters>{{serial}}</serialization_parameters>

Per stage: effort, feedback, failure, changed understanding, breakthrough conditions, external proof, reward, new problem. Distinguish real skill growth, tools, information, status changes. Without serial parameters, no fixed chapter reward schedule.

Prompt E: inflation and late-story loss of control

text
You are a longform progression reviewer. Check whether powers, enemies, resources, world scale inflate into meaninglessness.
<progression_history>{{history}}</progression_history>
<future_plan>{{future}}</future_plan>

Diagnose discarded old abilities, renamed levels, enlargement-only challenges, narratively irrelevant ordinary people, collapsed resource value, waived costs, nothing left to lose. Repair through horizontal depth, combination limits, social consequences, greater responsibility, transformed goals—not more levels by default.

Tests

  • Progression works without numerical panels.
  • Each gain has acquisition evidence and new limits/responsibilities.
  • Late challenges may change problem type rather than endlessly magnify power.
